PATCH Home Visitor Training Institute

PATCH is proud to have the Home Visitor Training Institute (HVTI) to provide assistance to the Hawai`i Home Visiting Network.

How can HVTI support you?

As part of their ongoing efforts to build strong foundations for families with infants and toddlers, the state of Hawai`i Department of Health and PATCH have partnered up to support professionals in the Hawai`i Home Visiting Network.

PATCH’s Home Visiting Training Institute (HVTI) is a free program that offers training, career mentoring, resources, and technical assistance for agencies that offer home visitor services.

We provide skills training for family support workers who service families during pregnancy and throughout a child’s first five years. The goals of PATCH HVTI is to support home visitors across the state, to improve pregnancy and child health outcomes; to foster the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children; to increase child safety, and empower parenting skills.
