This website is owned and operated by PATCH. We recognize that visitors to our site may be concerned about the information they provide to us, and how we treat this information.

PATCH uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of its online visitors. We do not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This means we do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. The information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site.

If you visit our site to read, or download information such as publications, forms, video and graphics, we collect and store the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site.

This information is used to determine the number of visitors to the different sections of our web site. We use it to make the site more useful. The information is usually deleted from the web server after a year.

PATCH only gathers personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, e-mail addresses, etc, when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. For example, personally identifiable information may be collected in order to respond to a stated desire to receive a referral or to make a donation online. This information is used solely by PATCH or other entities who are involved in the operation of this site for internal purposes. PATCH lists are never sold to third parties. We will only share personally identifiable information with third parties when the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it or we are required by law.

Note to parents about our Privacy Policy
PATCH welcomes children to learn more about our organization and, where appropriate, find opportunities to serve their community through PATCH programs and volunteer activities. However, we encourage this to be done only with their parent's knowledge and supervision.

Children should ask for their parents' permission before sending any information about themselves to us or anyone else over the Internet. NOTE: You must be thirteen (13) years of age or older to sign up for any of our programs.

These terms are governed and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States of America, notwithstanding any principles of conflicts of law. You and PATCH agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii. The failure of PATCH to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this legal notice and terms of use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of remaining provisions. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of this Website or its content must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
